Description of the event

This Investigator Site Staff GCP Refresher Course is suitable for both Investigators and Study Coordinators who have clinical trials experience and require an update and revision of their GCP training. As this is a refresher course it is assumed that participants have previous experience in GCP.

It will include information on the changes incorporated into revision 2 of ICH GCP (ICH E6R2) that impact on the conduct of trials at site and will focus on the practical application of GCP.

The course will provide guidance on building quality into site clinical trial activities in a prospective way and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions on their own challenges in the implementation of GCP.

The course meets the minimum requirements for mutual recognition by sponsors through the Transcelerate process and all participants will receive a certificate of completion on conclusion of the course.

The trainer, Eleanor Allan, has over 19 years’ experience in training clinical research personnel and is passionate, enthusiastic and practical in her approach. She trains Study Coordinators, Principal Investigators, academic researchers and sponsor personnel so understands the perspective of all parties. She is also an experienced clinical trials auditor and has first-hand knowledge of the current issues facing site personnel. The course will be interactive and include plenty of time for questions and discussions.
