Description of the event

Improving lives through robust evidence and effective implementation

The Centre for Evidence and Implementation is excited to present the 4th Australasian Implementation Conference (AIC) in Melbourne from 22-24 October, 2018.

For the first time, the AIC will be hosted alongside the What Works Global Summit 2018 in partnership with the Campbell Collaboration.

The combined conference will bring you all the latest evidence and implementation science strategies, helping you improve policies, practices, and outcomes across the social services and international development sectors. Brought to you by global experts in evidence and implementation, the conference will explore how new evidence can be used to build robust strategies that improve health, education and wellbeing for individuals, families, and communities.

The 2018 conference website is currently under development. To stay up-to-date with the latest conference details, please join the event mailing list.

Premier combined event

This premier combined event will gather internationally renowned speakers and leaders in the fields of research and evidence, and implementation science and practice. Together, they will share their latest insights and lessons learnt for generating evidence, and translating and disseminating it in a manner that contributes to effective policy, practice, and programs.

The three-day conference provides an important forum and opportunity to exchange inspiring ideas and showcase practical experiences on how to effectively pave the way from best evidence to best practice. It also provides a unique opportunity to engage with like-minded researchers, policymakers, practitioners, community, and organisational leaders.
