Abstract for the general public

This study proposes a new way of ensuring better follow up with GP after ED presentations. There will be a 3 pronged approach to 1) making a GP booking on discharge from hospital 2) providing written instructions and 3) confirming with verbal instructions re: patient understanding of the information compared to the same time period a year prior.
